dMAT Core Module — Mock Test 5

Three subtests, 56 questions, 70 minutes. Each subtest is timed separately and closes when its time runs out. Sit it in one go, the way you will on test day.

Exam conditions
  • No notes, no paper, no calculator. The real dMAT allows none of these. Solve everything in your head or you are training the wrong skill.
  • Never leave a blank. There is no negative marking. A guess is always worth more than an empty answer.
  • You cannot return to a finished subtest. Within a subtest you can move freely.
  • Roughly 75 seconds per question. Decide fast whether an item is a solve-now or a guess-and-move.

Preview mode is untimed and lets you jump between subtests. Use it to look around; use the timed test to know where you stand.

Independent practice material. Not affiliated with or endorsed by g.a.s.t., the TestDaF Institute, APS India or DAAD. All questions are originally generated.

Take a breath

On test day there is a 30-minute break between the Core Module and the Subject Module. Here, stand up, look away from the screen, and continue when you are ready.
